For Christel, making the decision to leave the buzz of daily life in Paris and taking the plunge to move permanently to her country home in Burgundy  was not a difficult one.

The unspoiled and peaceful country side soon made her adapt to a slower pace of life and being an artist in heart and soul, it all became a rich source of inspiration for her work as well.

 

A vivid palette of colours and the spatial flow in her home are now the perfect back drop for the poetic sculptures she creates.
